1. Who we are

Hawkins Capital LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates Candle Clash and acts as the data controller for personal data described in this notice.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — email, display name/handle, authentication identifiers.
  • Gameplay data — run scores, perks armed/consumed, leaderboard entries.
  • Support communications — messages you send us.
  • Device & usage data — IP address, browser/device type, crash and performance telemetry, and mobile advertising identifiers (e.g., IDFA/AAID) where applicable.
  • Cookies / local storage — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and support advertising.

3. Why we use it

  • Provide the Service, accounts and leaderboards (contract performance).
  • Process purchases, deliver digital items, and prevent fraud (legitimate interests, legal obligation).
  • Improve and secure the Service (legitimate interests).
  • Respond to support requests (legitimate interests / contract).
  • Serve personalized or non-personalized ads through our advertising partners (consent / legitimate interests).

4. Who we share it with

  • Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record for the sale of in-app purchases. Paddle independently controls payment, billing, tax, invoicing, and refund data.
  • Google (AdMob) — our advertising partner. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage data to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy & Terms.
  • Service providers — hosting, database, authentication, analytics, and error-reporting vendors processing data on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and compliance advisers when needed.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Account data is kept until you delete your account; transactional records are kept as required by tax and accounting laws.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege) to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure.

9. Cookies & advertising

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember settings. We also work with Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. You can manage ad personalization through your device settings (e.g., Limit Ad Tracking on iOS or Opt out of Ads Personalization on Android).
